About

James E. Jenkins, aged 68, boasts an extensive career spanning over 43 years, marked by diverse senior management roles, manufacturing operations, SEC public company leadership (including CEO and COB positions), investment banking, and involvement in real estate and commodities markets.

Since 1990, Mr. Jenkins has primarily focused on structuring financial transactions as an independent consultant. His versatile skill set includes composing business plans, crafting Private Placement Memorandums, taking on key management roles such as President, CEO, CFO, and Compliance Officer, and serving on Boards of Directors and Advisory boards.

With a remarkable track record spanning 31 years, he excels in raising capital and structuring financial transactions across various sectors, including manufacturing, real estate, and commodities. James possesses well-rounded deal-making experience, encompassing public offerings, private placements, M&A transactions, bond offerings, commercial real estate construction, and commodities. His expertise extends to managing various functions, from finance and operations to due diligence. He has interacted with a wide spectrum of stakeholders, including financial institutions, investors, stock exchanges, and regulatory bodies like the SEC.

Notably, Mr. Jenkins spent five years as the CEO of Cali Holdings Inc., a publicly traded closed-end, non-diversified management investment company operating under the Investment Company Act of 1940, classified as a Business Development Company (BDC). The company primarily invested in the equity and debt securities of micro and small-cap companies in both the public and private sectors.

Further showcasing his versatility, James acted as a General Partner in the Olde Marco Island Inn and Suites venture. In this role, he authored the Private Placement Memorandum, managed the construction, financing, and refurbishment of the historic Captain Collier's original Inn, dating back to 1883. He also oversaw the construction of two five-story towers featuring 52 condo units and five custom-built residences on the fifth floor of the buildings. Additionally, he managed the refurbishment of 12,000 square feet of retail space on the same property, taking into consideration its historical significance, as an archaeologist was present during the construction. Following this project, Mr. Jenkins, in collaboration with an associate, acquired property and constructed duplexes in Naples, Florida.

His early career, spanning over 18 years, was dedicated to high-tech electronics manufacturing. James held positions in pre-production engineering, production control, and manufacturing operations at notable companies, including Compugraphic Corporation, Centronics Data Printer, Inc., Gamex Industries, Inc., Rikal Manufacturing, Inc., and he established ATM Inc., a high-tech electronic contract manufacturing firm in 1984, guiding it through the process of going public in 1990.

James's educational background encompasses Business Management studies at Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, Massachusetts, Business Management at Daniel Webster College in Amherst, New Hampshire, and certification as a Commercial Mortgage Investor (CMI) from Open University in Orlando, Florida. Additionally, he completed programs in Quality Control, Production Control, Manufacturing Processes, and Supervision/Management through the American Management Association from 1974 to 1976.
