Jo is based in Alexandria, Virginia within the Washington Metropolitan Area. She relates to both buyers and sellers, having bought and then sold several of her own companies.This gives her knowledge of the complete experience from start to finish. Working as Investor Relations in a Private Equity firm and working with many Venture Capital companies gives her an understanding of capital markets and investment strategies.Jo has experience as a financial consultant, helping companies with exit strategies, financial planning, and investment. She has handled large and small M&A transactions throughout her career. Jo has experience in various industries, having purchased, operated, and sold businesses within many sectors. Jo pursued a BS in Accounting, later furthering her education with a Masters with concentration in Taxation. She also has received licensing in construction, real estate, and securities. Jo sells companies throughout the Eastern United States, including Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Florida.
