Laurie earned an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University Tepper School of Business and Bachelor of Science from Cornell University. She is a Certified Value Builder™ Advisor and has a Certificate in Exit Planning from The Exit Planning Institute.

She is a former middle-market CEO with an exit to FedEx in 2015. She was also Managing Partner of a private equity firm where she led deal sourcing, strategy, and due diligence.
